America Descending
Most of us don’t need to be told that there is a rapid, ongoing spiritual and moral decline in the world we live in, which, of course, includes America. At times all seems to be in a free-fall and this has elevated the fears and anxieties in people in ways most of us have not seen in our lifetimes; as daily the drumbeat of bad news hits us: Rising inflation, rumbles of war—even nuclear, predictions of the scarcity of food, attacks on parental authority by the public institutions, governmental policies that are terribly foolish if not downright evil and insane.
How did we get to where we are at? And what can we do? We are able to answer these questions in this edition of the Gathering Storm. We can answer these, not because I happen to be unusually brilliant, but rather because we have the authoritative, inerrant Word of God to tell us. We not only have a clear apostolic presentation on the present situation, but also two responses that are of particular importance for us as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
