Biblical Doctrine of Rewards

These 10 studies taught by Dr. Paul Benware in a Sunday school class setting present the doctrine of rewards which is seen in the Old Testament but developed and expanded in the New Testament.

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”
The Apostle Paul
2 Corinthians 5:10

The matter of the future rewarding of those who are born-again followers of Christ receives a great deal of coverage in the New Testament. While it is true that some pastors and theologians have downplayed this doctrinal area, it becomes clear that Jesus and His men did not. The doctrine of rewards is, of course, seen in the Old Testament as well, but this area of truth is developed and expanded in the New Testament.
